Tellan Steffan’s entire life has revolved around the agriculture industry, primarily in the beef and range management sector, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. Growing up he was involved with a commercial and registered cow-calf operation.  He continued his hands-on ranching education by working on various ranches in multiple states. He also has a decade of experience operating and managing a custom Artificial Insemination business based in southeast Montana.  

Tellan continues to operate a ranch with his wife, Kayla, and three sons south of Medora, ND. Their operation has allowed him the opportunity to implement successful grazing plans and build a sustainable ranch business. Over the past decade, he has had the opportunity to serve as an advisor for multiple ranch businesses. Through these experiences, he has built a vast network of connections in the ag industry.

Tellan holds a B. S. Animal Science degree from North Dakota State University.
